PINK PROJECT AUCTION - a total of AU$2,120.00 has been raised

The Auction has now closed. Many thanks to everyone who participated, and congrats to all the winners. I will be in touch with all the winners shortly.

I am thrilled to announce that the auction has raised AU$2,120.00 for breast cancer research.

Over 200 knitters and crocheters contributed pieces towards the Pink Project items - see who they are here

The auction will benefit breast cancer research, via the National Breast Cancer Foundation and similar organizations worldwide.

Thanks again to everyone who has been involved in the project - both as scrumblers and as bidders.

...and since I still have a box of pink scrumbles that have been contributed and that I haven't yet joined together, I will be working on creating more items later this year...and so we will have another auction early in 2010...so start saving!
